Primary Research- Attend Ballet Performance

Saturday, 10 February 2018, I was attending a Ballet Performance in Esplanade Concert Hall. This performance started on 4pm and end aound 5.15 pm. By watching this performance I hope that I can have a personal feeling about ballet . This story was about a romantic performance of two-act ballet. Begin with beautiful peasant girl, named Giselle. She has fallen love with a man named Loys ( Albrecht), which the truth he was a count of the royal family, who disguises himself as a peasant. Later, Giselle has known about the truth because the Duke of Silesia arrives with his daughter Bathilde is charmed. After know discovers about the truth. She suicide, which dies of a broken heart, she kills herself with Albrecht's sowrd. A group of supernatural women known as Wilis, summon Giselle from her grave. The Wilis commands Albrecht to dance to death. The Wilis try to inflict the sam fate on Albrecht, but Giselle dances with him in a plea to Myrtha to spare his life. She still loves him dearly even after death. At the break of down. The Wilis lose their power and return to their power and retrun to their graves. Albrecht is spared to their graves. Albrecht is spared and he realises taht he has lost his true love.

After watch this performance I feel that Ballet it's so beautiful. How they tell story without say it, they only dance to tell a story. I also like how their emotion speak to the audience and make us also feel about the story.
