Final Collection- Set 5

This look is a dress, which theTop part is a repition from the jacket of look 4.

This dress has a pocket which continues from the side style line.

After this dress done the first opinion that came- up in my mind is that I don't like this. I think this set is look too traditional.

I was thinking to change this dress to a jumpsuit with a jacket but it will look to different with other look. So I keep the first idea of dress, but I will change some part of it.

Toile Correction

1. Thinking of the opening ( I will make a zipper opening at the center back)

2. Eliminate the sleeve, so it look more modern.

3. Add godge, so it can more flare.

4. Remove the front pocket.

5. Change the back styline and make it connected to the center front.

6. Correction for the fitted of the bodice.

As we can see from the picture above that I add a styline on the back to connected the front styline.

I make a new toile for this look because there quiet much part that I need to change. Because I want a volume for this look so I make a gather in the side of the skirt.

When I want to cut the fabric there still a little space so I decided to give more volume for the back skirt.

Fo this look I decided to use a sam pattern fabric but different type of fabric. I use a drillfabric for the top while I using an organza fabric for the skirt.

After it's already 50% done I put my dress on the mannequin and I just realize that I don't like the pointed styline one the side back. I think it's look like a victorian dress, but there's nothing that I can do about it.
