A Last Reflection

After have this subject for every week in 1 year, it's quiet sad for me to know that this will be the last class that I have.

I still remember the firs time I enter the school and have this subject. On that day I get an explanation that we need to folow an event for Dover Park Hospice as a volunter to make a costume for them for a charity.

For me this subject is important because I learn many new thing in here. Because of this subject I can follow a competition, which I never did before. I have followed 6 competitions, even though I’m not winning the competition, but it becomes very interesting experience, and I learn a lot new thing about it. Every competition that I follow has different criteria that very challenging for me. I also need to make a fabric manipulation for most of the competition. I enjoy it because when I success make a nice fabric manipulation it make me feel that I become more creative. One of the competitions that make me feel very challenging is the Redress competition. I decided to use a material that not related in fashion, which is a safety net. The challenging part is when I need to do a manipulation so it will not look like a fashion material.

I also learn how to make a proper portfolio, which it will very useful for me in the future.

I really enjoy this subject and I like how the teacher help the student a lot by giving us a useful advice, and ide that I never though before to make our work become more interesting.

Overall I really like this class and I can say that I learn a lot of thing in here. I also learn that when I followed a competition it's doesn't matter if it will win or not but at least I already try it, and I can fix it become better for the next one.
