Final Collection Set- 6

This look is consist of 2 piece. A blouse that made from chiffon and a skirt with pocket detail like the pants on first look. Other detail that make me like this look is the peplum of the sleeve. But I need to make it more flare so it will look more interesting.

This the original pattern for the peplum. I just make a circle pattern and give a pleat on the middle. If i want to make it more flare so I need to make 2 pattern and give a side seam.

So far I already have 5 set look. All this 5 look have a pinkish- purple colour. I need to make my next look in different color to make the collection look more interesting and not boring.

I have a fabric with black-blue color fabric which this fabric will make my overall look of my collection look interesting. The problem that I have of this fabric is that I only have 1.5 yard of this fabric, while I need to make 2 pieces of garment with this fabric.

(working on the limited fabric, I need to be sure of what I do and cannot make a mistake.)

Toile Correction

1. working on limited fabric.

2. Smaller the skirt hem and blend to waist by 4 cm each on the hip line, because now it look like a square skirt without shape.

3. Make the pocket wider, give extra 2 cm for each pattern.

4. Change the blouse fabric ( from chiffon into lace).

5. More volume in the sleeve peplum.

6. Blouse became a tie knot and the opening will be a zipper on the center back.

7. Give a bolero of a pink fabric that I use for skirt set-3.

8. The sleeve peplum will go together with the bolero while the blouse will have a long normal sleeve.

So I made a new top toile for this set.

To be Honest It's quiet hard to make the pattern of the blouse. I use a pattern magic book to make this blouse. It's become hard because the explaination is too little (not clear enough).

I made a simple bolero that simillar with my look 4 jacket. The left side is the original bolero but I think it will shoe the blouse more if I made the bolero shorter.

Because I want to safe the fabric, I make the front hem of the skirt have a side seam while it not suppose to be onfold.

After I done sewing the skirt, the next step is attaching the lining.

When I want to aatach the lining into the skit I just realize that I made it wrongly.

I suppore attache the pocket bag togehter with the lining and sew it together to the skirt.

So the solution of it is sew the lining seperated and later I need to hand sew into the poclet bag, but I need to make sure that the pocket must can be open.
